Remain Wild Photography Workshop Policies
1. Booking & Payment Policy
To secure a spot in the workshop, participants must pay in full no later than XX days before the workshop start date. Accepted payment methods include valid credit or debit cards. Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in forfeiture of the reservation.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- **Participant Cancellations:**
- Cancellations made XX days or more before the workshop start date are eligible for a full refund minus a XX% administrative fee.
- Cancellations made between XX and XX days before the start date will receive a XX% refund.
- Cancellations within 3 days of the workshop are non-refundable.
- Participants may transfer their registration to another person with prior approval.
- **Workshop Cancellations:**
- In the event of workshop cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, safety concerns, or low enrollment), participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future workshop.
3. Health & Safety Policy
Participants must disclose any medical conditions that may impact their ability to participate safely. All participants are responsible for their own health and safety, including bringing any necessary medications. Travel and health insurance are strongly recommended.
4. Code of Conduct
To ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience for all:
- Participants must follow ethical wildlife photography guidelines and avoid disturbing animals.
- Respect fellow participants, guides, and local communities.
- Leave no trace—do not litter or damage natural habitats.
- Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.
5. Equipment & Liability Policy
Participants are responsible for their own photography equipment and personal belongings. The workshop organizers are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment. It is recommended that participants carry insurance for expensive gear.
6. Weather & Itinerary Changes
The itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions, wildlife activity, or unforeseen circumstances. While we strive to provide the best possible experience, we appreciate participants' flexibility in adapting to changing conditions.
7. Liability Waiver Policy
Participants acknowledge that they are participating in the workshop at their own risk. The workshop organizers, guides, and affiliated parties are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or medical issues that may arise before, during, or after the workshop. By registering, participants agree to release the organizers from any claims related to personal injury or property damage. It is strongly recommended that participants obtain their own travel and medical insurance to cover potential risks. A signed liability waiver may be required before participation.
**Disclaimer:** Florida is home to various dangerous plants and animals, including alligators, snakes, and toxic vegetation. Participants must use caution at all times and follow provided paths, trails, or walkways to ensure their safety. Failure to adhere to safety guidelines is at the participant’s own risk.
8. Model Release & Image Usage Policy
Participants may be photographed or filmed during the workshop. By attending, you grant permission for your likeness to be used in promotional materials unless you request otherwise in writing. Participants retain full rights to images they capture during the workshop.
